Tim Howe’s Audi A3

For the week of 27th November we take a detailed look at Tim Howe’s Audi A3 1.9TDI

Tim bought this car nearly a year ago now and hasn’t had to do much with it being that it is a PD130 Engined car, they are renowned for being one of the strongest, most tuneable engines out there and this car is no exception.

There are a few modifications this car has had done to it that gives it an OEM+ look and feel, so here goes ;

Stage 1 Remapped 210hp 450nm
Decatted
6 Speed gearbox conversion

Blacked badges, grill and wing mirrors
Xenon headlights
LED full beam
Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres

Not extensive but purposeful! It gives the car a really good stance and rides extremely well! There are also little add ons such as a Reversing camera, double din android flip up stereo, a bassy sub in the boot and multicoloured interior lighting! All these things added together make a great car that deserves the credit it’s getting! It’s no slouch either at 210hp and 450nm torque!!

Lastly, a little bit of appreciation from the founders… Tim recently let go of this “Fun” car and let one of the founders borrow it whilst some work was being done on his car, and without hesitation he just gave him the key, and no deadline was given, we’d just like to write a quick message in this Spotlight Saturday to say we really appreciate what you have done Tim and it won’t be forgotten!
